Cooksmill Green Congregational Church is a welcoming Christian community in Essex, offering a friendly and inclusive place for worship, reflection and fellowship. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, whether you are looking for a regular place of worship or visiting a church for the first time.
Our services are relaxed, informal and accessible, creating a comfortable atmosphere where everyone can feel at home. We aim to provide a friendly setting for worship, prayer, thoughtful messages and time together as a community.
Services usually take place at 6:30pm, except on the first and third Sundays of each month when worship begins at 10:30am. This regular pattern makes it easy for visitors and members to plan their attendance throughout the month.
We enjoy welcoming a variety of speakers, offering different insights, experiences and encouraging messages. Each service provides an opportunity to worship together, listen, reflect and share in the life of our local church community.
After our evening services, everyone is invited to stay for refreshments and informal fellowship. It is a lovely opportunity to meet members of the congregation and enjoy friendly conversation. Sunday’s Cool – 3 Year Olds & Upwards
Sunday’s Cool at Cooksmill Green currently has an age range from 3 years old and upwards.
We meet on the first and third Sundays of each month at 10:30am so please feel free to come along.
There is much fun to be had learning new stories, singing, playing games and sometimes getting messy doing craft work.
If you would like to join us, we always love to welcome new faces.
